Conflict

After a month of partisan attacks, Major General Draguin Dolanski, commander of the 1st Croatian Light Parachute Company, determined they could not hold their positions at the Danica Air Base much longer and decided to withdraw through the village of Peteranac and across the Drava River into Hungary. (see J108 Danica Air for earlier action)
